The Tribunal conducts its review and appeal hearings primarily through videoconference.

If you wish to observe a hearing, please contact us (at least two business days before the hearing) by one of the following methods:

Information will be provided to those intending to observe a hearing regarding the technical and decorum requirements in order to ensure a smooth and professional hearing.

TATC hearings are held in public. Nevertheless, the Tribunal may hold all or any part of a hearing in private pursuant to subsection 15(4) of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada Act, which provides the Tribunal with the statutory discretion to treat as confidential certain hearings and documents that would normally be disclosed under the open court principle. For this reason, only hearings that are open to the public are published on this page.
