With law degrees from the Université de Montréal and the École du Barreau du Québec, Martine Guay had a long career in the federal public service, first as a legal translator-reviser and then as a manager. She later went back to school to become a nurse and has since worked in the fields of women’s health and research. Ms. Guay holds a master’s degree in nursing from the Université de Montréal. In addition to her thesis, she has several publications to her credit and has contributed to numerous academic texts. She has also taught and presented several oral presentations and posters at international conferences.
