After obtaining a law degree from Université de Montréal and becoming a member of the Barreau du Québec, Martine Guay had a long career in the federal public service, first as a legal translator-reviser and then as a manager. She later went back to school to become a nurse and has since worked in women’s health and research. She has contributed to many books published in her field and is completing a masters degree in nursing. She also likes to teach and do volunteer work in her community.
